Some of us write with whimsey,
Some of us write with grace,
Some of us write for attention,
Some of us just to debase.

Some of us write with wisdom,
A message to endow,
But all will write, right from the heart
Come let us teach you how.

We write about a lover
Or a feeling within our heart.
We'll write about a stand we take
Or something, we would, impart.

So why not come and join us,
A few words to entwine....
Just add a little flourish
And they become sublime.

Now, you'll become a poet...
We'll see, to what renown,
So put those words together
All you do is write them down.
