A Poet Poem by Oladimeji Hakeem Olayinka

A Poet

I'm a vagabond
The one that set path
On the journey of life
I'm a hobo
The one that rail into
A long distance

Pen down the world
Geography on my poetry slate
I know what the moon says
At night when it kisses the ocean
I'm a poet, I communicate with the stars
When they reach there fullness in the sky
I dedicate my life to mother nature
I know the sound of chirping birds
In the morning when they fly across the trees
White is the color of every trees in the summer
The wolf howl at the moonlight
Oh! I'm a poet

The words of mine will reach
Somewhere between the stars
A divine purpose
To solve the earth conundrum
To give a broken heart a lift
To does hearing the sound of the monition everyday
Pleas there heart and sing there sorrow away
Thy life is a letter written to inspire every soul
Peradventure, the footprint in history

I'm a messenger
One placed on this journey
Called life
As a passenger
I pour myself
in these poetry lines
With a divine purpose
To rewrite life broken
And my life is a letter written
To inspire the nation

Poetry
One great language
Of a poet
Placed in life pages
With a purpose to give life light
To challenge
Hearts filled with rage
In hope to take charge.
