An Entrapment Poem by Oladimeji Hakeem Olayinka

An Entrapment

As I struggle in your garden of beauty and affection,
My enormous love for you erupts beneath me deep down.
Marvelous it's, My longs, my heart all breath for you,
In perfect and peace beautiful flower blossom,
My world becomes jolly, special and glee.

No doubt, you make a meek man laugh and sad,
A deceitful love that lure me to a perfect dungeon.
Dangerously, I was allured,
Somewhere along the line you've became corrupt.
Where you cheats everyday and I plead everyday.
I'll always love you but you've dealt with me, Hurting me with lies.

You enslave me,
Beneath the solitary gilded cage of love.
Oh! I'm Shackle down with raw-chain,
Where my heart were bind with sorrow and agony.
Under your cacophony sound of love,
Laughter ceased to come, When lover turn to bitter foe.

No passion lies in your kiss,
Guessing the fires no longer there.
Often times I reminisce, of a love that never came to exist
A jar full of love elixir now a void
I loved you tender, I loved you passionately
Everytime I think about you now it's bittersweet.

House that once fill with joy now engulf with,
Empty argument and range of anger like gunfire.
Then, I turn to a slave, pleasuring your grace
While I'm caged under duress of love.

Getting myself caught in your web,
As you devour me completely.
I am enslaved to a powerful force in which galaxies intertwine
Your gorgeous eyes and pretty smile
Let me say sassy because you're beyond cute.
Oh! I want to partaway in seclusion,
But each facet of you is ensnarement.
