A Poet's Philosophy Poem by Allen Blue

A Poet's Philosophy

If you can write it in three words
then it's a universal truth.

If it takes four to nine words
then it's probably a human truth.

But, if you can't say it in less than ten,
including all the accoutrements,
then you're probably writing a book
that's going to be worthless anyhow.
