Even when the world is crumbling around you
You dare to think that it can't get worst
And then the world inside of you
Starts to crumble as you find your sight
Dreams that you have dreamt
Only to realize they will never be true
Hopes of future that you worked for
To realize, it only takes a second for someone to shatter them
The vases of trust you built
As the cracks start to appear
You dare hope for them to mend
Even as they break apart
You think that you can mold a new one
But you have lost the fire
That your furnace needs
To begin a new life, to start afresh
When shall you realize my child
That your hope is that what kills you
That is what shatters and breaks you
And yet you hope, hope to dream,
Hope for dawn to break
Hope it Shatters the darkness that clouds the skies
Of your mind and your soul
That never seems to fade like an unbound lie.
