A tattered barefoot lad, ragged in clothes, and his unblinking eyes, shaded by a wide
bamboo hat,
A poor man's child and his barren dreams
veiling his heart with tattered hopes,
His virility, possessed by spirits of the partial air,
His body, weighed-down by the forces of unfairness and injustice.
A poor man's child and his quest for success, Stand tiptoe on the misty mountain tops,
the crunch of sand under bare-feet with a
gleams of triumph in his eyes.
Arms folded squarely across his barrel chest,
Watching the wastrels flourish in his tortured moment.
