A Portrait Poem by Debby walters

A Portrait

There he hangs on the wall
Staring at who knows what.
His clothes, face a coat of paint:

O it really looks like him
Most people say, others
Don’t say a word, walking past,

Him catching a tiny draft.
His eyes can only ignore
As he hangs there, so like him.
