I wanted to add that the way the poem reads is so pleasing to the ear with it's rhythm and rhyme. The form of your writing is so well done. Thank you for a poem that I can read many times.

. The 'presence that is old but no older than time' goes so well with 'the whispers that echo' and evoke memory and a kind of history of trees. I loved, " silent songs and great hushed throng of wings in flight.(The absence of sound cause me to remember haunting sounds of bird ' thronged wings in flight'.) But more importantly the silent song and hushed wing flight for me is something very important mysterious and provacative. I
