A Promise Kept Or Broken
A promise kept shines steady through the years,
Its quiet strength outlasts the fleeting day;
It soothes the heart, dissolves our hidden fears,
And lights the path when doubts would block the way.
A broken vow, though whispered once in trust,
Leaves shadows deep where hope had dared to grow;
Yet even loss can teach what hearts must must,
And guide the soul through grief it comes to know.
