I hope you live a life you will remember
and if heaven will show you a replay
I hope you are proud

I hope you fail a thousand times
so when the win finally comes
i hope it counts

I hope you spend some time in the dark
so you can recognize the light
and when life keeps putting you to the ground
I hope you learn to fight

I hope you learn to always stand
if not on your feet then on your knees
I hope you learn that your broken heart shouldn't break another's

I hope you treat people right and not fairly
even when they give you thorns
you give them roses

I hope you have a happy ending
irrespective of how you have lived.
