A Prudent Deal Poem by Hans Raj Sharma

A Prudent Deal

Every morning with options
Either to continue sleeping
With sweet and lovely dreams
Or to wake up, to chase them.
The choice is always with me
What a moment! I feel with-
I'm bigger than the anxieties
I'm taller than my thoughts
I'm greater than the visions.

Red signal reflecting on-
Turning, red, yellow to green
Indicating, dos and don'ts
I'm going with the flow
Flow of lovely friends and foes
With a little bit bitter truths
Being lead by examples
Of emotions and feelings
Speaking a thousand words-
Life span's nothing-
But, a nine days wonder
And all's set for the next.

Next season, the fall of winter
Still, lot more to do with-
But, there is a slip
Between the cup and the lips
Can I look for a prudent deal?
