A Question (Dedicated To Martha Jane Zontek And Dr. Harold Wells Gilbert)
When one has did long before one's time,
And stands, sublime, entranced on God's great ground,
When one has left the boundaries of earth behind,
Slipped through the veil, forgotten to look round!
When one has learned that pain and peace unite
To teach a sweeter and gentler way, -
When one has rested on the breast of God,
Tell me, please, how can one spend the day?
