A Quiet Sunday Morning - Poem by Michael P. McParland

How I want to spend a quiet Sunday morning
here with you curled up in my arms
as we just sit back in the medium light
in the room that is so relaxing and peaceful
making for the perfect comfort while we
get moving on this Sunday morn
and I'll just hold you close while we drink our coffee
softly talking and smiling at each other
as all the time in the world marches on.
I want a quiet Sunday morning with my babe
to just relax with you and forget today
that there's a world outside our door.
It will be just you, me, and our family.

So my sweet love even though right now
we can only have our dream in spirit here
grab your coffee and curl up in my loving arms
for me to keep you nice and warm while we
just revel in the love we have and feel so deep
and we share so openly because we are proud
of each other and the things inside we keep.
Let's sit back on the couch and snuggle away
a quiet Sunday morning filled with bliss because
you'll be curled up in my arms in true love.
Kira I want a quiet Sunday morning spent with you
so right now let's both sit back and I'll
wrap my arms so tight around you as you curl up under them.
I love you dear and want every one with you
and to be peaceful and beautiful as we live in heaven as a couple.
So just sit back along with me and feel my warmth
as I pull you in and say I love you dear you truly are
the very best there is.
