A Rainy Birthday Poem by Christopher Tye

A Rainy Birthday

Rating: 5.0

A Rainy Birthday

Another year has pasted already.

Really rained heavy today just my luck,
Always seems to rain on my birthday,
Inclement weather yet again,
Next year might by fair,
Years seem to fly by now.

Birthday time again,
Rained on my parade again,
Intended to do lots but achieved nothing,
Tomorrow's another day thank goodness,
Here's to the year ahead,
Don't know what the coming year holds,
A job interview on my birthday oh well,
Yikes I'm over forty now where's my Zimmer frame?
