Poetry is not just full of letters and words compiled nicely,
Not only a collection of memories
Or a narration of a sad story
Filled with emotions, and aspirations,
It is but thoughts encapsulated in stanzas,
In sonnets, in haikus, in Ballards, and in elegies,
Written carefully to tell you many things
For a while it will stop your mobility,
Will give you time to read a few lines
give you a pause to refresh your mind,
heal your psyche, will give you some respite from your daily duty,
Will draw you towards sanity,
clear away the mist of melancholy,
Correct your age old depressive mentality
Believe me, It is a great remedy,
If you care to read poems carefully.
