A Reminder To Forget You Poem by Meghan Sullivan

A Reminder To Forget You

Rating: 5.0

i am washing my hands this morning.

these nails are still so white, so finely manicured. the woman at the salon said she shaped them like almonds.

these nails gently scratched down your chest last night. they caressed your jaw.

you left before i washed my hands this morning. you won't come back.

i want to rip these nails off with my teeth.
