A Rich Man Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

A Rich Man

He was a rich man
But he prefer to live in a tent
He was a rich man
But he had holes in his clothes everywhere he went

He was a rich man
But he liked to find things in the trash
He was a rich man
Though he seldom ever carried any cash

He was a rich man
He had more riches then all the money you can spend
Yes he was a rich man
Because he had a million friends

No car
He always walked
He had to borrow your phone
If he wanted to talk
But he was rich beyond years
Because all his friends made him cheer
