A Tribute To Radio Shows Past And Present Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

A Tribute To Radio Shows Past And Present

Rating: 2.5

When I was a kid I often listen to Clyde Coffee
I must admit in Madison we have had some groovy deejays on local shows
Giving away things or being funny
This poem is tribute to those that are here and those that did go

What has been your favorite local radio show?
Rockin John McDonald or What'ya Know?
Johnny Danger and Greg Blair?
Or one that went off the air?

Do you remember John and Gordy
Outside the box with Mitch Henck
Simply Folk or Back to the Country
Or how about Van Edwards on WIBA

Chris Powers, Jonathan Little
Jonathan and Kitty
Crash and Burns
Or Jackson Jones and Ashley

What's a new show you like?
Why are they replacing local ones with national ones?
Do you think this is a good idea?
Or do you think it's really dumb?

Well there's no way I'll be able to name them all
But they made me smile winter, spring, summer, or fall
If I left your favorite out write it here ________________
Now thank that Deejay or buy him or her a beer
