A Roman Warrior Poem by Deepali Sood

A Roman Warrior

Rating: 5.0

I am from Italy, a Roman warrior..strong and tough,
I carry my Armour 20 miles in rough.
I am young, smart and disciplined,
and I am trained to thick and thin.
Short sleeved knee length length tunic is my attire,
and a cloak on my shoulders cover me entire.
In battles, I carry my sword on the right, shield on the left,
and use horses and intellect.
We invaded Britain thrice,
that gave my country a rise.
