A Rose Poem by Lisa LaTrovato

A Rose

A rose grows slowly, like a love affair
It reaches its highest glory and becomes magnificent when it blooms, like love
itself.
But in the end when the rose withers and the petals drop to the ground, it is not
like love. For love is eternal.
