A Rose Amongst The Thorns Poem by Adam Rubenstein

A Rose Amongst The Thorns

A Rose Amongst The Thorns
By: Adam J. Rubenstein
February 2009

A rose amongst the thorns
A sun beam amongst the storm
A smile in the rain
A Glass of lemonade

One day a week;
Or if I’m lucky two,
Three is pushing it;
But these are the days I get to see you.

A smile that never leaves
Yours is one I cherish
Till the next day I see you
Till that next smile I leave you.

My Rose amongst the thorns
How I never wish to leave you

My Rose amongst the thorns
How all I think of is to please you.

My Rose amongst the thorns…

My Rose amongst the thorns…
