A Rose Petal Poem by Artistic Perspective

A Rose Petal

A Rose Petal

Age 12

A Rose Petal quickly falls off its rose.
I see that it's falling quickly, but in my mind I see it slowly.
What's pleasant about a piece of itself ripping, tearing away?
The only pleasant thought about it, is it will grow a new rose.
I watch the petal fall and plummet.
Until it hits the ground.
Rose petals, Rose petals, are all around.
Why must they fall off?
The rose is now unwhole.
Hopefully, it will come back,
Restore the rose's soul.

like the theme! the wording is good too. however -. -ithe main issue i have, is it looks, and sounds abit like prose (poetic prose) , it just dosent hv enough structure, dont worry though, you did this age twelve, and as you get older you will find a structure that suites you. :) - i recoment when you write a new poem, re-write it several times, in several styles, and see which stucktur fit you the best.
