A Safe Nation Poem by ROGEL FRANCIS SORIOSO

A Safe Nation

A peace loving nation have nothing to boast
For a nation that have so much to lose
Also have so much to endure
It doesn't sleep unless everything is safe and secure
A nation that wages war protects its interests
It's wealth, resources and territory are greater in numbers
Opinions and beliefs are common in its members
That particular nation builds war machines and technology
For the reason that it wants to protect its ideology
A nation that has a weak defense in its borders and walls
Are willingly ready to surrender once its armed forces falls
Just compare the security between a bank and a supermarket
Since the items found in a bank worth's more than in a grocery
Protection is more needed in a bank in case of a robbery
We want to make sure that we are protected
With all the risks are worries and concerns will grow
We must be able to anticipate what the criminals are willing to throw
In life its good to know that we are secure and stable
The enemy must know what we are all capable
