A Safeter Place In Time Poem by Arnold Slone

A Safeter Place In Time

Take my hand and follow me

To a simpler time and place to be

Where winds are calm and sun so bright

The evening stars give off their light

The nights and days are all the same

Fond memories found and dreams reclaimed

Our youth restored to natural form

To all that's their there is no harm

Just close your eyes and take the trip

For this place be in your mind

I'll hold your hand if you're afraid

And you can hold on to mine

Softly flying back in time

So far back where you don't mind

The face I know the hand so real

My master holds me
