A Scar On My Body


I did not ask anybody
For this scar on my body.
It will never go away
Forever it will stay.

Once you are bit
You’re bit for good.
So they say
So I understood.

It’s called a tattoo
It may not be for you.
But when the ink is in
The fun will begin.

My first tattoo
It will not be the last.

The red, the black,
The green and the blue.

The next tattoo
Will sure come fast.

Some say it’s crazy,
Some say why
To them I say

You won’t know ‘till you try.

This new scar on my body
I willingly placed,
It will never go away
Forever it will stay.
