Around the globe, people trudge and trek.

Seeking ground, some ask for only a speck
Earth only enough to grow a little food
Asking so they may nurture their brood
Running from peril or worse human terror
Caused by murderers using God as standard-barer
Homes razed, genocide - raped, killed, and enslaved

Under the guise of cleansing the land while you're the depraved
Not the innocent bloodshed for which you will be called
Into the presence of the almighty high supreme, be hauled
Too many fail to understand what you do to another
Entity reaps unto your hands filled with blood on a brother
Demeans not them but is now yours to carry and care

Homeward bound to the space out of time where you'll bare
Acrimony erodes the spirit and is considered a crime
Recall every snarl, every hate, every right that you take into time
Must be paid when you cross the line of fully awake is collected
Onto others is onto you, baring the deep scars you infected
Now is the time to turn that cheek, give over to peace, a gentle dove
Years endless to heed the way of the maker asked only to learn love.
