A Season With You Poem by SamRichards Salahudin Amir

A Season With You

A SEASON WITH YOU
It was a time of great harvest
And i was like a ship without a sail
A train without the rail
Till you came way
Cutting through me like hot knife through
Butter
I felt you coursing through my veins
Like liquid electricity
A perfect melody without a beat
Ordinarily incomplete
I am a worthless initiate
I forget everything I think I know at your feet.
