A Simple Vision Poem by Mustafa Marconi

Looking at the snow fall upon a tree
I vision a world meant to be
Where hunger is a word no one understands
Where peace is common to every man
A world filled with love and righteousness
A world where our elders can peacefully rest
Where little children laugh and play
Where the poor can find work and fair wages are paid
A world without wars or hostile lands
Where aggression and tyranny are universally banned
Where every woman and man has the right to be free
And all nations coexist in harmony
Looking at the snow high on the tree
This vision of a world I hope to be
Where hunger is a word no one understands
And peace is common to everyman
