A Sisters' Cry Poem by paige Galloway

A Sisters' Cry

Fourteen years and one conversation
I found you and it took determination
Kept apart I had a broken heart
I yearned to make you apart of me
You and I are alot alike
and now our bond is forever to be
I dreamed about you I felt incomplete
I knew about you I could barely sleep
The thought of you brought tears to my eyes
when I talked about you I nearly cried
Now that I have you
I'll never let go
I'll hold onto you forever
Just as long as you know
there was never a day
where you didn't cross my mind
I prayed for you all the time
Now that I can call you my best friend
I can tell you everything from beginning to end
I hope when you read this
It kindles your heart
And if you don't love me as I love you
I hope you begin to start
A sisters' cry is most unique of all
They are almost identical
Not very different at all
You are apart of me
As I am of you forever and always
*Dedicated to my sister Megan Harper
