A Slave's Invisible Faith Poem by Stanley Dorsey

A Slave's Invisible Faith

Our noteworthy opportunity to being capable and free, is faith.
Like the bold soldiers of socialism we awaken.
Correcting the covers hidden from the sun.
Through the blinds comes the light,
To remain invisible we cannot.
A life full of dreams yet a light unseen.
The distance isn't to far for our soul's existence.
A mirror of who and what we are.
The chains of slavery we do resist.
Faithfully believing in self, though lacking perfection.
We are warm in life as death is cold.
Never surrender faith, be bold not sold.
