A Snow Day Poem by Angel Uchiyama

A Snow Day

It wasn`t exciting, but it was peaceful. It was not too cold, but with big snow flakes falling. The streets were empty and quite. No people, no cars, just me. The roads were wet, the grass covered with a layer of white ice, naked trees, a cloudy sky, and a kind wind. I wore a black heavy coat and a pair of flip flops, I walked down the street, listening to my ipod, observing the snowy day.
