A Song For You Poem by Christian Crisostomo

I was walking in a heavy downpour;
counting every raindropp that strikes my head
as if they're the memories between us
They're still breathing in every atom in me.

I took an uncertain path
I just let my feet to walk in their own
but then I found myself walking...
walking towards an angel
walking towards you!

My soul was mesmerized by yours!
I could hardly think of words to say
I just let this illusion embraced me
this is all I ever wanted...
I want to be sealed in the four-corners of this universe...
sealed together with you!

I don't really believe in destiny
or even thinking of its density
but if destiny was a few meters away from me,
and if destiny was the same as the path that I've taken
to reach your soft hand,
then I'm already believing on it.

There are so many things that I want you to know
please stay in your silence
for every time I see you, it reminds me of
how beautiful this crowded world could be.
Please stay in your calmness
for every time I see your eyes
I also see the great beautiful constellations
inside your eyes where my universe resides.

I dare you not to move;
so that I can worship the beauty of nature
where I can see the stream of pearls,
the wonderful sunset, and the smooth horizon.

It seems that you are a daffodil;
and I was seeing you from far away.
On the top of the great still hill
You're still, esteemed, and silent.

It is as though you're inexistent;
but still, I can feel your presence...

in between us, nothing can be seen
just an empty space between our resonating souls.
I was terribly dying and hoping
that this fate will allow us
to occupy that nothingness;
and together, we'll create the universe!
