This life ain’t fair.
It’ll take you to the ground.
But just when you think you’ve lost it all,
You’ll find out that you’re found
In the arms of a person
You’d least expect.
They’re taking all the pain away,
And they’re willing to protect
The little bit of life
Left inside your soul.
They’re turning your life around,
Breaking up all the cold.
And now you’re realizing
Exactly who you’ve become,
And you know you’ll love this very special person
Until your life is done.
