A special word for you and me
A special bond that no one can see
A certain word that we both know
A kind of word that makes us glow

It holds us tightly in its grasp
And let's us know we both will last
Like a thread we are held together
With you by my side we will live forever

Even though the thread may break
A new one will be formed in its wake
Binding us closer to make us strong
In a few words darling, we belong

Together forever we will always be
In my heart if you stay with me
Given the chance I will never lie
Something I can't do, won't even try

I promise to love you I tell you this
This is a chance we both can't miss
Happiness together sounds so good
I knew you would feel the same, I knew you could

I just wrote this poem to let you know
That my love for you will always grow
