A Star Poem by Lau Jane

A star is something shining bright,
i look at you, into the night
i feel your touch, i see you glow,
i hold you dear, you look below

So much to see i cannot stray,
from your gaze, there is no way
to reach you there, up in the sky,
to see you close, i say goodbye,

The sun has come to steal my sight,
and to this brightness i say goodnight
today will pass and i will see
you in my eyes the night will be.
