I was bound all my life
in religious rules
and
Cultural norms
These chains grew
to capture me,
My body turned
into a Cage,
With protector
outside the Gate...
Still
I was
Free to feel...
Whispering of
The butterflies
told me to lie
I fooled
the gaurd
To let me out
for just one night...
That night,
I drifted
through the clouds,
Into the sky
touched the stars,
circled the moon...
Morning swallowed
the glittering sky,
So Back to earth,
Back in the cage
Though i know
I now can live...
As in the dark
When im alone
Unfold my fist
I have a star
In my palm...
I stole this star
