A Story Of The Two Warrior Poem by Mark Anthony Mendoza

Beneath this warrior there’s a mystery within
He killed a thousand soldier yet his heart are weak
Every blood that drops on his sword you could see his tears
He battled all around the world searching for answers

He had stumble many times yet he stood back on his foot
Now he’s coming to my way with his black horse and sword
Raising up high a flag of blood, what should I do?
Am I going to be the next prey.. is this the end of my life

Though with fear inside I stood up high on my ground
I put on my sword and raise a flag with a name on it
A name of someone that I left… but love the most
For she is what I’m seeking for in this battle of mine

Then warrior run quickly towards me then I close my eyes
Thinking of her as I may have failed finding her back
This is the last ground I’ll stand, could I ever survive
He’s going to kill me now, my journey will end… let me see her before I die

As he draw his weapon to strike it to me
I held on to the flag and hold it up high
Shouting her name while my tears fall rapidly
Then the wind stop and the warrior dropp his sword

I heard a girl voice and I could recognize her voice
I thought the warrior already killed me and I’m in a limbo
But as I open my eyes I see an angel….
The warrior is a girl looking for his lost love

I looked at her again, she hold my hand and said to me
“Rest now my sweet, tomorrow we’ll journey together
Together for a new reason, a journey for forever love”
I have no words to say, all I can do is hug her so tight and never let go

She was the one I’ve been looking for and fighting for
Never thought she was doing exactly the same
Now we locked our hands and never let go
We’ll battle together till we reach forever.
