A Story You'll Never Close Poem by J.C. Masa

A Story You'll Never Close

I don't want to be just another chapter in your life,
Because I know I can give you better.
Let me be a whole new book for you,
And one day, make you my wife.

Let me be a story you'll never close,
The one you'll always choose.
The one who gives you life and purpose—
The epitome of all that's virtuous.

Though in person, you may never see it,
My lips may try to deny it—
But my actions will show it,
My eyes will confess it,
And my words will always prove it.

But did you feel it?
