A Strange Life. Poem by Abraham John Jaggernauth

A Strange Life.

Take Me aside and show Me your life?
This life that's alive and not a lie;
Will you show Me the life inside.

Show Me now, and do not hide;
Because that's all life is for, not despised.
All your pain and shame, let it wane and wash away
Because your life will be Mine, and never the same.

Let Me come in, and purge your pain;
Wash your sins, fill your vain.
Your pain is My pain; your sin, Mine to take.

I shall take, and anew remake.
This is My Name...; Here, take.
I give you this day, forever, and never to be changed.

My Love, My Life, My Everything.
Now, show Me yourself again;
How beautiful, how lovely; The Great Love Within.
