A Suffocated Relation Poem by Soni Mirchandani

A Suffocated Relation

Shemet a person, who was the perfect blend of being her soulmate too,
But as relation takes its first step, blending it into a new frame,
Life moved by, into decades nurturing its journeyto be compatible, trustable, and the way by to be a perfectionist, making best out working on be on the same page of that relation,
Then abruptly she felt voice cramming what she wanted from life,
(inner voice)'You have been living in another's shoes', and going past the doors a frustrated self felt gloomy and lull,
Where she being yanked by a bull, and her version of self-identity lying in a lagoon ofdevasted feel,
Working on a suppressed version maybe this is not the illusionary picture you wanted to be into,
And soon, protocols demand transformation,
Rising up from the haze of grave, but giving up on her golden cage wasn't easy,
Trending and coping in change, bewildered by own strength,
Her actions spelled into words,
As from the era of pain, to a journey of making an identity and proving her name,
Her notions spoke on self-identity,
Proving every individual, that every woman has the power inside her, the dignity to prove the Caliber of Excellency.
