A Sweet Rose. Poem by Asamoah Gyan Emmanuel

A Sweet Rose.

Repaired a sinew of a heart.It's time I write to you,
Recalling one reflection, thy image in the spa;
blurred by thy beauty all that you do;
And glowing face, a glittering lips like twilight star.

Blustering on the skin, the power of thy breath;
Oh! the touch of thy fingers, so calm, so smooth, so tender;
Pampering the dying soul like a blazing fire under-neath;
And gesticulation of thy waist, the heart is devoured asunder.

Rose! a dazzling flower; thy sweet smell ne'er dies,
Glistening in darkness as the moon on cloudless skies,
Parading in the chamber with melodious voice, sets the eyes for spies;
And thy shadow in the mirror never ever tell lies.

Blossom of thy petals are like a princess from celestial shore,
Thy garment is precious than diamond and gold
Styling hair, a sculpt carved shape of thy body; a mark I cannot score
And an invaluable lass with added virtue untold.
