A Tale Of A Friend Poem by i am not crazy

A Tale Of A Friend

Rating: 4.8

Come to me and dance to inspire
One’s twiddled mortality
And fulfill a satisfying desire
For a friend who’s open arms to welcome me

Honest and wise adds thine gloss
But treasury and pain seem worthless to you
For it’s a gentleman’s or a maiden’s cause
To be a friend forever true

Never to seek abandoned rage
So time don’t pass by in anger
So soon unimportant things will age
But bliss is there to wander

My face, sweating judgments
Thy virtues wiped it clean
Took my peevish vainly innocence
And changed them to a dream

I’ll carve your name in the heavens
For you’re truly made in angel’s hands
Sent to where the waves deepens
Driven back to clement sands

I’ve seen eyes of a fairytale
As I cleave my way true
You left no sight of my dirty trail
Unendingly, sweet voices are praising you

Dark clouds cover my oaths yet you shine brighter than a comet
Comfort thy arms bring when depression leads unto me
Draw fears untold to an everlasting sonnet
Too well a journey goes and a friendship lasts eternally
