A Talk With Myself Poem by Lynn Trudel

Living in the past just causes much pain.'

May I keep only the memories?
The ones that make me smile, and
Learn from the unfortunate ones
Not to be, not to be

'If it filters back into thought,
As it will sometimes.
Just toss it to the wind
Let it go, let it go'

Feel the warmth in your heart
Breathe in deeply the clean air
And let go of all your fears
Live again, live again'

Yes,

I should,
I will,
My choice…
