When I arrived home from
Work
By the time
I unlocked
the door
To my apartment
There I found
A thank you note
The note was written by my neighbor
Saying
The dinner that you cooked for me
Was very special

So many people today do not carry on the practice of writing thank you notes and I think that is such a shame. How long does it take to write a quick note of appreciation for something thoughtful that was bestowed upon you? This is a wonderful poem of awareness.
