A Thought (For Gardeners) - Poem by Cicely Fox Smith

The Russians, so we lately learned,
Are fighting on the Slucz -
A piece of news which cannot fail
An answering chord to tucz,
Since how you spell it, after all,
Can't really matter mucz,
And we who dig for victory
Are toiling - in the slucz.
