'A Thousand Words' - Poem by Kevin Wang

your words are like a dream
but a dream i don't believe in
well nothing easily
every time i see you past by
that face i cannot forget
that pretty face of yours
your lips moving so softly, so slowly
sometimes i wish i could just hold you tight and kiss you right there on the lips
but i had always sealed my mouth to you
my courage have failed me
there i had wished my life would just end
to be hit by a car in the high, running, fast highway

there are times where
i still cant hear you
where a thousand confessions are held tightly bonded in my heart
to keep me distant from you
but at the same time my heart ached for yours
hair tingles every time i see you
i swore to take the sands of time to keep your picture, to keep that memory,
that cute face of yours in my mind forever
i still wish i can turn back the pages
'til the words fade away
but now i am not afraid to say
a thousand words that have never been spoken
but only written out as it slowly seeps out through my lonely soul
baby, i had only wished to be with you
but every time i had tried i had failed

at least now that i had swore upon
a thousand words which calls in the ages
the eras of time to let me come back to you
i swore to find the answers
to hold you dear to my heart

but i said i couldn't wait
to rip the tape off my mouth
those chains that bind me so tight
all for which are ripped off as the world trembles
as i hope to hold you to my heart
to lead the princess of that you are
but now I'm strong enough to say
a thousand words
over a thousand words that haven't been spoken
but only lost amongst the whispers of the wind
to ever wish i could fly to you in silver wings
an angel, a guardian to protect forever
to hold you tight
hold you forever
to say a thousand words that i wish to say
besides that i love you so much
besides that of you are a beautiful blossoming flower with a sensational feeling, being
i will wait for you by these words that i swore upon
these thousand words, my love
i nothing else to say but to unveil these true words
to grasp your hand in mine
to hang my head
to say its not late as it have have a thousand embraces to hold there
a thousands times that hope you are to be safe and well
baby, i just don't know what to do
with these thousand words...
