A Tickle Poem by Butterflies In My Belly Forever

A Tickle

I get a tickle every time I think of your smiling face...
How your heart and being was so full of delicate Grace.
How you could find the good in every single thing,
I get a tickle.

I get a tickle when I think of times spent
Shopping at the mall and listening to you vent...
About this or that and how it made you feel,
Then I would hug you and my heart would be thrilled.
I get a tickle.

I get a tickle thinking of you and the children.
You were so brave to take them all...
Cuddle them up and in the floor you would fall
Laughing and happy as can be,
I get a tickle.

I really miss those things a lot.
Miss your hugs, your advice and the way you thought.
You would tell me I was wrong but you loved me anyway,
How I'd grow up to be someone special one day.
You told me you were so proud of who I had become especially after I had my son.

I get a tickle when my child looks at me and this is what he says,
'I'm gonna call Nanny up in heaven and tell on you.'
He looks at me with those big brown eyes,
Folds up his arms and gives me a sigh..
When I look at him and I simply say,
'What you did was wrong but I love you anyway'
I get a tickle.
