A Time When Every Man Walks Protected. Poem by Desmond Okon

A Time When Every Man Walks Protected.

Rating: 5.0

Here comes the moment,
When days are filled with dust, running tirelessly,
From the wind to earth crust.
When the sky struggles with the clouds,
To pour a chilly smile.

Here comes men and women with stock-fished skin,
Siblings in pants, white as snow tail them behind their rear in line.

The snowy touch bears the presence of the moment,
When the wind stands aginst the will of man, and compells them
To find warmth in blankets and hoods.

The whim is strong, ferocious!
As it moves over the nation,
With hazards, unpleasantness. To health, precarious!
As its power is superior to lotion.

Seasons come, seasons fade,
With one, a herald of wind's omen, not facade.
Your noses feed sapped phlegm and bleed chill,
As its gentle touch caresses them,
You hope for a greeny feel.

Here comes the moment,
When waters escape the earth's grip,
Abandoned to relish sermons the sun preached.

Here comes a time, when every man walks protected,
From broken lips,
Till the moment it finds its leave.
