A Transformation Of The Trees Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

A Transformation Of The Trees

Rating: 5.0

Nature has jurisdiction over all the trees
When Autumn overshadows the land.
The yearly ritual creates a picturesque scene
That is astonishing and will not easily disband.

The leaves of the trees are like patches on a quilt
That heighten the beauty in red, orange, and gold,
And gives a graceful pleasure to the senses
That will be spectacular and lovely to behold.

Pause to remember the phenomenon of Nature,
A moment of grandeur before the winter freeze.
Cherish this instance of being mesmerized
By the transformation of all the trees.

Each tree will adhere to Nature's call,
Eventually their leaves will begin to fall.
One will be overwhelmed with sadness,
And be in a state of wonderment of it all.
