A Tribute To Pam Poem by Nona Vaught

A Tribute To Pam

Rating: 5.0

It was on a quiet evening

Along about the time of sunset

Faint bells in the distance were ringing

We stood by your grave with heads bowed.

Tom sang 'We Have This Moment Today'

The newborn you saved from the fire was there.

We stood on hill at sunset

A tribute with tender meaning.

Though full-term yourself

You gathered her up in your arms

and braved the flames with courage.

We will never forget you, Pam.
